betsy is still not mobile. paul helped me get the motor back into shape (i.e. he did it), so i was hoping to be ready to leave by now, but betsy seems to like being back in australia so is making things difficult for me.
I’m waiting for an undertray and new headlight, but more critically a new stator and a transfer gear for the starter motor. Hopefully these arrive sometime soon as i’m going a little stir crazy.
The rough plan from here is to fit the aforementioned parts, pack betsy into a shipping crate and then work out where to send her. Santiago, (Chile) is the current preference, but with time running out to reach Tierra del Fuego (southern tip of Chile/Argentina) before the ice does, that may change.
in the meantime i’m working on organising the inaugural Ride for Cambodia event. Take a look at the rideforcambodia website for more details.
